Although some really good sheep were: yarded, bidding was lifeless, end a large proportion of ihe entry went c-ut un6old. Prices realised were:—Prime- fat. hoccets, '41s.;' light fat ewes, 335. Barrell. Mangatainoka, on T'nday. There'.was a, good attendance of ouyers, and competition was animated throughout the sale. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report a very good yarding of sheep and cattle was submitted to tno average attendance at their l'oJuatua sale. There was «• good demand for oattle, but the inquiry for hoggets has cased, considerably during the pant fortnight, and consequently competition was limited. We quote as follows :-Bheep: 8.f.. hoggets (good), Ma. 6U. _ A line of good m.s. hogtots was passed in at 2,rs. 6d. Abraham and Williams, report:—At Baumai, on Tuesday, wo had a good yarding of stock and a fail- attendance of buyers. There was a keen demand for all classes, and we had a, total clearance ;at prices well in favour of tho vendors. Bulls for stud purposes sold particularly well. A tmall herd of cows ' offered on account of Mr. W. W. Robert were rather low in condition, and some were showing age.
