KARORI RIFLE CLUB
The Karon Defence. Rifle Club held the annual general meeting of members on Tuesday evening nt Buckie Street Brill Mall, a lajj;o number of members attending. The meeting endorsed tho action of the committee in firms tor the Willoughby Cup and the C.A.G. Cun during the past season. The balanceshoot shows tho finances of tho club to bo in a very healthy condition, an amount of M 17s. 9d. being carried forward. Tho liabilities of tho club are nil and the assets £i 3 os. 3d. During the evenjns the Polone Rifle ' Club and tho Suburbs Itiflo Club were accorded a hearty vote of thanks for tho loan of their iango during the past season. A voto of thanks was accorded tho Press also. President TV. Judd took the opportunity of making a presentation to the secretary. Kflinn. E. W. Daniel, on behalf of the club, for tho ear-, vices ho has rendered during- tho past two years. A presentation was also made to R-flmn. T. Chine, who has acted as coach to tho various teams that have fired during the season. The' following officers were elected for tho ensuing year :—Patron, Mr. W. H. Foild. vico-natron, Mr. F. J. Blundell, Owen Daley, W. E. Jackson, A. Collins, and Captain J. Keir; hon. secretary. Mr. E. W. Daniel; assistant hon. secretary, Mr. H. V. : Croxton; lion, treasurer, Mr. W.'A. Farquhar; auditor, Mr. R. Randall; handi- , capper, Mr. G. Tinneyj committee, Messrs. TV. Ske'gg, G. Tinney, A. Jensen, ', and H. Bulford.
