As the lady concerned Mies Reoye has to suggest .'disgust at a brutal husband's treatment which so plays upon her feelings that she decides to 'fllope with a pressing admirer. Everything is ready, her clothes are packed, a letter written to the husband, when suddenly the admiror is killed in a street accident, and it is for the woman to Tecovor from that blow and appear as usual to her husband. The part is full of opportunities to the clever actress, and Miss Reeve is said to have extracted every ounce from the many thrilling events in "Half-an-Hour."
