MR. HOLMAN'S VISIT TO AMERICA
VIEWS ON THE WAR OUTLOOK. New York, September 12. Mr. W. A. Holman, Premier of New South. Wales, lias received many inrvitations to remain in America for a few weeks and deliver addresses on. Australia. Mr. Holmaa lias not yet decided if' ho will accept. In an interview with the representative of tho Australian Press ho said he believed the war was in its last year. The submarine situation was less menacing, and the submarines would not bo the decisive factor in ending the war. The shipping losses at present wero gxeater ; than the construction of shipping, but tho losses were lessening., He believed .that within a short time the construction will overtake the losses. England was bending all her energies to winning, the war. Everywhere there was a feeling, of confidence and determination.
