FRENCH CABINET CRISIS
M. PAINLEVE ASSEMBLING A MINISTRY: Paris, September 11. M. Painleva is forming a Cabinet, in which all parties are represented, in a great union, for national and military action.—Atis.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rec. September 13, 0.15 a.m.) Paris, September 12. M. Painleve is constituting his Cabinet on the British model. JIM. Thomas and Clementel retain their portfolios, but M. Bibot has refused tho post of Foreign Affairs. M. Clemenceau has been offered an important position, and Ims conditionally accepted.—"Tlio. Times."
