HAWKE'S BAY SHOW
We have received a copy of the schedule of t'jie forthcoming Hawkes hay Show, which, "will take place at Hastings on October 17 and 18. Thero is ,110 substantial alteration in the piogramine since last year, except that a section ol eight classes lias /been added lor milking Shorthorns, and a condition has been attached to all the purebred cattle classes, that animals must be entered or eligible for entry in a recognised Herd Book. The prize-monoy has not .been reduced on account of "the war, but on the contrary, several special prizes have been added. As arrangements have been made for the special carriage of showstock from .both tho Wairarapa and tho AV«st Coast, the coinmitteo of the Hawlie's Bay 'A. and P. Society expect to have the usual very large entry from these districts. Intending exhibitors should communicate with tho secretary in Napier at an early djito, as the number of exhibits will .materially affeot the train arrangements. Entrios will close on October 3.
