HOSPITALS BOMBED BY GERMAN AIRMEN ENEMY ARTILLERY DOMINATED BY FRENCH London, September 6. We repulsed a, counter-attack with considerable eueniv casualties. Tho enemy twice attempted a raid eastward of Armenfieres, On the second attempt they succeeded in entering our trenches, but it ere immediately driven out. "We carried out local attacks at strong points northward of Frezenberg, and made some nrogress. The enemy heavily shelled Armentmres. FRENCH BATTERIES DOMINATE ENEMY ARTILLERY GERMAN ATTACKS PREVENTED. \ , '•■ London, September 6. A. French communique states:—"Our batteries jn the Champagne are dominating the enemy artillery, which is particularly violent in the sectors of the Butte du ilesnil a.nd the Main de Massiges. We vigorously shelled tho enemy's front lines, preventing- any attack. The enemy bombed Dunkirk, wounding a number of civilians. A French aeroplane bombed a German aerodrome and a railway elation and many bivouacs."—Aus.-N.Z: Cable Assn.-Eeuler. DETERMINED ATTACK ON A HOSPITAL. (Rec. September 7, 11.25 p.m.) Paris, September 7. A German aeroplane bombed a military hospital at lladelaincourt on Tuesday night, killing nineteen and wounding twenty-six.
