AN ANTI-REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT AUSTRIANS SUFFER HEAVY LOSSES ITALIANS REPULSE HEAVY ATTACKS GERMAN AIRMEN BOMB HOSPITALS To-day'e cablegrams ehow that tho Italians are vigorously continuing their offensive, and that formidable counter-attacks launched by the enemy on the southern section of the C.ifco front have been decisivjly repelled. The Kussian retreat in the Baltic Provinces continues, and •. the enemy is said to be preparing an attack by sea on the naval bases in the Gulf of Finland. Violent artillery battles and some local inj fantry fighting turning to the advantage of the Allies are reported in the Western, theatre. Germany and Austria are said to bo planning a new partition of*Eussian Poland. M.Kihot, in a stirring speech, expresses . the determination of .France to exact full reparation from Germany and the restitution of Alsace-Lorraine.
