NEW LLOYD GEORGE PARTY
✓ WEALTHY SUPPORTERS TO FIGHT NEXT ELECTION ITS WAR POLICY (Rec. August 30, 8.30 p.m.) London, August 29. The Central News Agency states the most active supporters of Mr. Lloyd George Are forming a new party with the purpose of establishing a party machine fund to tight the election. The supporters include some of the wealthiest Liberals and Unionists. The party advocates a vigorous prosecution of the war, with extensive social reforms— Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. A NATIONAL PARTY DISTINCT FROM THE LLOYDGEORGE PARTY. (Rec. August 31, 1.5 a.m.) London, August 30. • A number of Unionists, including Mr. Page Croft, Mr. Alan Uurgoyue, Lord Montagu of Beaulieu, and Mr. W. G. Jenkins, have formed a new National Party, on the grouiid that tve old political associations are obstacles to the work of after-war national reconstruction. The National Party apparently represents the "Morning Post's" it.cas, and is not connected .with Mr. Lloyd George's party.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
