The Church of England Men's Society has arranged a social gathering for men to bo held in St. Poter's Hall this ovenine. An attractive programme of songs, recitations, and instrumental items has been arransed, and any men who care to attend will t>o ma.de thoroughly welcome. • Tho Bev. H. Watson, vicar of St. Peter's, will presrie, and interost will bo added to tho mectinK hy the fact that the principal speaker yill be Ohaplain T. F. Taylor , who, aftoa, lengthy period of active service with the N.Z.E.F. in Egypt, .Gallipoli. and France, was invalided home suffering from the effects of a wound received in action, ana is now acting as chaplain at flctuvned soldiers who have-served mtn Chaplain Taylor in one or . other of tho fronts or to whom his narao is familiar will bo specially wclcomod to tho meetinp;.
