♦ COMING REPRESENTATIVE MATCH. The "Wellington Busby Union met last: evening. Mr. D. D. Weir presided. Permission was granted the Thirtysecond and Thirty-fifth Reinforcements to play a match on Athletic I'ark at 1.30 p.m. next Saturday. Ten pounds were donated to the Wellington Public Schools Rugby Union. The Schools Union asked for a further grant of .£4 2s. to cover the cost of footballs. Tho members of the union will find the amount. Permission was granted for the playingof a curtain-raiser \betwcen the Wellington and Wairarapa school teams) to tho Wairarapa-Wellington representative match. Selwyn Club asked to be allowed to play junior matches on the day of tlm Wairarapa representative match. The request was not granted. It is to be explained to Selwyn that it is usual to cryoff club fixtures on the occasions of representative matches. This procedure allows; i the younger players to sec the big games.. The following Wellington representative team has been selected to play Wairarapa Full back, Morton (University! three-quarters, Corner (Petone), Jackson (University), Aifken (University);-five-eighths, Porter <.01 <1 Roys) and Cole (Petone); half, Nicholls (Petone); wing forward, Hislop (Old Boys); pack. Scott (Old Boys), Polo (Petone), Cnddick (Oriental), Bond (Petone), Black (Poneke),' Baker (Poneke), Desmond (Poneke). Emerireneies: Thomas (Pe.tone), Hanson (Old Boys). Sherrick (Poi>eke), Slater (Poneke), Poulter (Orientol). Bowers (Poneke). Mr. 11. Paton will ba referee.
