ANOTHER BREACH OF THE RULES OF WAR
FRENCH PRISONERS FORCED INTO GERMAN WORKING BATTALIONS. Paris, August 19. The Foreign Minister (M. Ribot) is formally protesting to Germany against French youths in occupied territory being incorporated in German workmen's battalions, and doing military, work at the front. It is stated that twenty-six of these battalions have been formed—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
