EXPLOSIVES DROPPED ON ARSENAL AND FLEET. (Rec. August 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 30. An Italian official report states: "Large flights of bombing l ■'planes attacked Polft oil Wednesday night, and effectively dropped eight tons of high explosives on the arsenal and the fleet. All the machines returned."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reuter. RECTIFICATION OF FRONT. (Rec. August 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, August 10. An Italian official report states: "We rectified our front between Boscomalo and Castagnavizza. There is much mutual aeroplane bomb-dropping."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable. Assn.-Reuter.
