: The special production of "The' Birth! of a Nation" at the icing's Theatre on. Saturuay- promises, to. be. somethingunique in the annals of picture showing in Wellington! Plenteous preparations have been made on a lavish scale, and the musical setting particularly will be a treat in itself. The elaborate scoro requires elaborate treatment, and the huge orchestra that has been engaseil, has been rehearsing for weeks under Mr. Wynne-Jones. Special vocal and choral numbers will be sung, and there will bo an arrav of special mechanical effects. To-night, by way of signalising the importance of the show, there w,ill be a procession of Klu-Klux Klan riders robed in white with hjorses suitably dressed.
