Tlio inspector roported that sinco last meeting ho had secured fivo convictions in tho Magistrate's Court for various acts of cruelty to horses. ' In four casos fines had been imposod. The chairman commohtcd with pleasure upon the fact tliat two of tho offenders mentioned in tho report had been mulcted to the extent of .£5 each.
