THE BIRTH OF A NATION
Along with the making of great pictures, there has developed in America a new branch of art in connection with the production, ■ setting, and putting on of a big film drama. For "The Birth of a Nation" in the big New York theatres, enormous preparations were made. A great" musical score was prepared by Charles Breil, tho Anieridan composer, and a vast sum was spent on special effects, choral music, etc. This class of presentation is a new thing in New Zealand, but it will bo seen in its full glory at tho King's Theatre next Saturday, when Griffith's inasterpieco will be staged, under exactly the same conditions as at Drury Lane Theatre, London, and in the great American cities. The season opens with tho matinee at 2 o'clock on Saturday—(Published by Arrangement.) , •
