Ho said that for his efforts which had averted a great coal strike he had been rewarded with tu'ree months' imprisonment. Ho paid a■■ tribute to the police and gaol officials, I>ui: condemned the Prison Regulations, especially tho dark ..'ell, and criticised the quality and quantity of the food. On his return to Parliament he would have something to say about tho Second Pivisiou.
