PREFERENCE TO UNIONISTS
EXCLUDED FROM QUEENSLAND ARBITRATION ACT. Brisbane! July 26. The Legislative Council, decided,: :by 13 votes to 3, to amend the Arbitration Act to provide, in accordance with an agreement arrived at by both Houses, that the question of preference, to unionists should bo excluded from the operations of the Act.—Press Association.
