THE GAS SUPPLY will be RESUMED at 6.30 o'clock THIS (SATURDAY) MORNING, and will be cut ofl at 1.30 p.m. till 4.30 p.m. Then ou again till 11 p,m. On SUNDAY the Gas supply will be on from 7.30 a.m. till 1.30 p.m., and from 4.30 till 11 p.m. Consumers aro earnestly desired to see that all Taps and Pilot Lights of Water Heaters. Hot Water Circulators. Gas Fires, and Incandescent Burners ARE PROPERLY SHUT OFF when not in use. Consumers are also requested to bo as economical as possible in the use cf gas for all purposes so as to prevent further restrictions in the hours of supply. J. IT. HELLIWELL, Secretary. Wages and conditions tho same as at present:— STOKERS-Wages, 12s. 6d. per Bhift; Six Shifts per week. Doublo Time on Eight Public Holidays. Twelve Days' Holiday per annum on full pay. NOTE.—Minimum Wage per week of Six Shifts is in summer £3 15b. per . man. This is considerably increased during tho Winter by Extras, the pay then averaging £4 12s. 7d. Over tho whole year the Averago Wage paid, inoluding Holidays, Extras, and Clog-Money, is £4 4s. 7d. per week. LEADING STOKERS receive 6d. per Shift extra. FIREMEN-Wagcs, 11s. 6d. per Shift.
