SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE
» - DOMINION CONFERENCE TO-DAY. The conference of delegates from Second Division Leagues throughout the Dominion will be opened this morning at 10 o'clock in the Accountant Society's rooms, 3!) Johnston Street. Delegates are requested to be in attendance at f1.45 a.m., so that a roll may be prepared, and other Sreliminaries settled. The Minister of lefence, Hon. Sir Janes A lien, K.C.8., officially open the conference. The t emits from the various leagues - constitute a very lengthy crder paper, and it is expected that the conference will sit for probably three days! By permission of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, arrangements have .been n.ado for representatives from the confermcc to address a meeting of members of Parliament at 10 a.m. on Friday. Application has been made to the Prime Minister to receive a deputation from the conference, and this will probably eventuate on Saturday morning. The visiting delegates will be entertained to dinner by the. Wellington Committee at the Grand Hotel this evening. "I know my remedy."—Shakespeare.
