Andrews, N.Z.S.C., one of tho five returned officers who are to speak at the "Talks on the War" in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, next Thursday evening; will have something interesting to say of the evacuation of Oallipoli. He was the senior officer selected by the New Zealand Division to remain behind in command of tho last party to leave the Peninsula, when every man was brought safely to the boats. The other lecturers will bo Cantain P. Hall-Thompson, C.M.G." JR.\ ; Lieuteuant-Colonel ,T. G. Hughes, CM (i D.5.0.; Major F. Waite, D.5.0., N.Z E • and Lieutenant E. T. Shand, Royal I'lying Corps. The total experience of these oflicers during the war includes service in Mesopotamia, Persian Gulf, Egypt Dardanelles, France, Belgium, and Salonika.
