SODDEN DEATH.. A single man named Patrick Kearney. 56 years of age, was found sitting in Ms bed dead yesterday morning. Kearney lived at Trentham on his brother's farm and occupied a ivkare a little- distance from the farmhouse. When l.is brother went to call him yesterday mornln? he found him dead. An ininic»t will bo lield at Trcntlium this morning. INQUEST. An inquest was held yesterday' aStcrnoon by -Mi: W. G. ftiddell, S. JI c.ncermng the death of Charles Boyd Civil Servant, clerk in the Education .Department, aged 80, whose body was found floating near the Kona Bay Wharf early on Tuesday morning. After heariii" the evidence the Coroner returned a verdict of found drowned, there being nothing to show how the deceased i-umo to be in the water.
