EARLY CLOSING OF HOTELS
MB. MASSEY ASKED TO STATE HIS ATTITUDE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Pukekohe, July fl. Mr. J. E. Taylor, a member of a deputation which waited upon Mr. Massey to-night in regard to six o'clock closing asked that, as member for Franklin, he should state his attitude on the subject. Mr. Massey, replied that he was not only member for Franklyn, but also was Prime Minister, and he could not commit Cabinet. It would he wrong and -unconstitutional to do so. He stated that a. Bill dealing with the question of hotel hours would be introduced at an early stage of the session.
