FOE NEW ZEALAND SOLDIERS. The following five soldiers of the NewZealand Expeditionary Forces and one officer of the Royal Flying Corps .have had awards conferred upon them is under:— • ■ Order of the Crown of Italy, silver medal for military valour: 2nd Lieut. Geoffrey Gordon Callender, R.F.C. (next-of-kin, Mr. W. Callender, Bank of New Zealand, Wellington); 2nd Lieut, (temp. Lieut.) Mervyn Roy Walker, 2nd Batt. Cl.lt. (Mr. Thomas Walker, 136 Leith Street, Dnnedin); Corpl. Francis Roy Martin, N.Z. Pioneer Batt. (Mrs. 0. A. Martin, Wyndlmm); Pte. Henry Benny, 2nd Batt. Otago I.R. (Mrs. H. Benny, Broadfield, Canterbury); Pte Samuel Joliu Patterson, No. 2 F.A., N./jM.C. (Mrs. I. Patterson, Vermont otreet. Auckland); Pte. Cecil Miller Wells, 2nd Batt. Wellington Regt. (J. Wells, Madras Street, Christclmrch). •' All except Lieut. Callender are etill on active service.
