SOLDIER FARMERS
• RESULTS OF LAND BALLOTS.
Yesterday the Wellington Land Board continued the examination of soldiers for Putorino Settlement and Hamua. Block. The ballot was taken for the sections in Hamua Block, and resulted as follows:—Section 34, Block 11, Hangaone, 62 acres 2 roods 30 perches, W. J. Ryan (13 applicants); Section 35, Block 11, Mangaone S.D., 67 acres, E. Jobnston (10 applicants). The sections in Putorino Settlement were alloted as under:—Section 1, 75 acres, F. Clifton; Section 2, 61 acres, H. Svcamore; Section 3, 50 acres, J. M. Plannigan; Section 4 S8 acres Isaac Uibbs; Section 5, 50 acres, A. G. Cameron; Section 6, 50 acres, W. Innes; Section 7, 49 acres, J. E. White; Section-8, SO acres, A. C. M. Sicely; Section 9,. 68 acres 2 roods, H. F. G. Jonson; Section 10, 82 acres, C. J. Lawson; Section 11, 81 acres, G. F. Haar; Section 12, 57 acres, M. H. *. Bailey; Section 13, -58 acres. G. Jelly; Section 14, 50 acres, C.-L. Raine; and-. Section 15, 50 acres, S. Finch.
