PIGBREEDERS' ASSOCIATION
(By 'Telegraph—Special Reporter.) ■ '' _ '• Palmerston North, Juno 21. The annual meeting of tho Mow Zealand Pig Breeders' Association was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. W. L. Fetch (president) occupying . tho , chair. • The report and balance-sheet showed that tho. association was established in 1916, and tho finances wore in a. fairly satisfactory state. Arrangements bad been made for printing tho first volume of tho Herd Book, which would be in tho hands of members shortly. There was a credit baSanco in hand of ISs. sd. Messrs. J. G. Willis (Taranaki) and li. Fetch (Feilding) were elected to tho council. Jifr. W. li. Fetch was reelected president. Mr. J. G. Cobbo treasurer, and Mr. John Linton secretary. Our advice is, "Get ready for the milking season by having milking machines' and engines overhauled and put in firstclass, running order." In this regard you cannot do better than consult A. J.
