Classes for life-saving, under the instruction of the Boys' Institute officials, have been carried on on an extensive scale recently at the Boys' Institute, with the result tliat the society has made seventynine awards during May and Juee, made up as follow:—Thirty elementary certificates, thirty-one proficiency certificates, eighteen bronzo medallions.
