A GLOOMY PROPHECY. Amsterdam, June 18. The newspaper "Ribg Stiflsftdende," which is always well informed on German matters, says that it will be impossible for the German harvest to be good, oven if the weather improves. The Melds were badly ploughed, there was a scarcity of artificial manure, sowing was belated and. was undertaken by women, and. the long drought has had u bad effect.
