Id.; good lambs (shorn), 19s. lid.; small lambs, lis. 6i1.; cull 'lambs, 6s. 9d.; light fat cows, &: storo cows, £5 12s. to £4 7s. 6d.; 18 Juonths steers. £7 Is.; weaner steers, £3 lis.; heifers, in calf, £5 Is.; springing heifer. £11 15s. Jfc9srs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having- held a clearing salo on account of Mr. Otto Pussoll at Kimbolton 'on' Monday. Notwithstanding tho bad 1 weather, there was a fair attendance of farmer? and buyers. Tho salo was a most successful one, competition, especially for the sheep, was keen, and everything went with a hum from the start. Prices us follow were obtained for tho various lots offered:—A lino of 745 2-tooth to f.f.m. breeding ewes brought 335. 9d., 215 twotooth, wethers 335. 9d., }20 medium ewo lambs 225„ cull ewes in lamb 165.; small storo lambs 14s. 3d.; two-year heifers in calf (small). £7 55.; mixed, weaners, £4 Is. ■63.; two-year bull. £10 10s. The datiry cows were an ordinary lot, Tathor low conditioned and backward calvers; 'they sold at from £8 10s. to £10 10s., averaging £9 2s. 6d. Messrs. Wright. Stephenson, and Co., Ltd.. report on the weekly salo at Pahiatua, as under:—Only a moderate entry of stock came forward; tie weather conditions affected the attendance. We ouotc as follows: —Sheep—Wether lambs, shorn, 175.; cull lambs, 10s. to 10s. 6d. Cattle—Three-year steers, £15; 25-ycar steers, £11 to £12 10s.; small, weaners, £2 10s.
