Pour excellent 'games' were played in the Alcock War JiV.l billiard pintTournament last cvoning, all being in A section. The results are. T. Iv.sUy (Gievtown) beat M. lngley; P. JC. Porieoiis beat G. N. Goldie, T. lngley beat P. K Porteous, C. Holcroft beat W. Isaac. Both Ingleys showed excellent form; the boy, who is only 13 years of age, gives promise of boconiing one of the first flight players. Tho best breaks were: T. lngley 41), 35, 21, 29, 25, 20; M. Inglev, 28, 2} "0E. K. Porteous, 28, 22, 26; Goldie, 2ii, 20; Holeroft, 25, 22; Isaac, 24, 20. To-uight, commencing at 7.45, the finals of the tournament will be played; these are between A group (T. lngley and C. Holcroft) and B group (W. R. Kell-and W. R. Morse), After the games the certificates, which are accepted in lieu of prizes, will 1» presented.
