DULL AND MISTY WEATHER

Yesterday was another cold and sguaUy day with' frequent showers of heavy rain. Unsettled weather, lias been gencral throughout the .country. Present indications point to high., but decreasing, southerly winds north of farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and variable and strong breeze?, with increasing northerlies and westerlies, prevailing shortly elsewhere. Squally and showery weather is probable in the northern and east coast districts of the North Island, and dull and misty weather generally elsewhere.
