London, June 11. The position of Mr. Kameity Macdouald and Mr. 1 ,, . W. Jowett is arousing great interest. Several questions have been asked in tho House of Commons, and Mr. Terrell gave notice of motion at the adjournment to discuss the question. Meanwhile, there is great excitement at the port where tho delegates are due to leave. Mr. G. K. Roberts (Labour), Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade, has appealed to tho local branch of tho Seamen's Union to rc-lease Macdonald and Jowett. Ho declared that the Government did not desire I'nat lUe delegates shonld be prevented from leaving, bncausn such action would be misunderstood at I'litrograd. The Teniiest was refused. Pickets have been posted. The organiser of the Seamen's Union stated that ho has warned tlie Premier that if a naval crew were put on board, or a. destroyer used to convey Messrs. Macdonald and Jowett, there would be a national seamen's otriko tomorrow. Mr. Havelock "Wilson. 7)resident of tho Sailors and Firemen's Union, states that he understands that if Macdouald and Jowett fail to get a fillip they contemplate making the journey in an aeroplane.—Router. Union pickets follow Macdonald aii'l Jowett everywhere, cvrii guarding their bedroom door and windows. They refuse to listen to overtures.
