IMPROVEMENTS AT TRENTHAII.

Since the inception of Trentuanj as a military camp for the training of Reinforcements, the Headquarters Offices have been established in a building which was formerly used by tho Dominion Eiflo Association. From time to' time additions and alterations have been made, but even so, tho accommodation has been severely taxed, and places.have been prepared for a new building to bo crected near tho camp gates, immediately in front of tho hospital. AVork on tho new block of buildings will begin this morning, under the works branch oE the Defence Department, and it is expected that steady progress wilt be made so as to havo them ready as soon sis possible. The front of the building, which will facn tho roadway, will ho about 100 feet, and tho plans show a pleasing design, not only as seen from tho road, but froni other aspects also. Tn tho centro will bo a gable, with verandahs flanking tho centrul portion of tho building. From lhr> wpslirn verandah a lobby will Icml into tho building, and. by a wido passago to tho vurions offices beyond. Tho Commandant's ollico is at 'this end of tho block. Leading from it aro two offices, to l>o used by the First and Second Camp Adjutants respectively.
