IRISH CONVENTION'
ULSTER UNIONIST COUNCIL'S FORMULA (Rec. June 10, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 9. Tho Unionist Ulster Council has decided to appoint a representative committee to confer with Sir Edward Carson and the Ulster Unionist members of Parliament for the purpose of selecting delegates to the Irish Convention, and consult iritli them during the Convention. The conditions are: Firstly, that every form of proposal shall be open for consideration; Secondly, that in the event of a failure of agreement no party' shall be bound or committed by the proceedings; Thirdly, that no 6cheme shall be forced upon the Ulster Unionists to which their representatives' do not agree.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. THE ALLIES' AIR-RAID ON. MONS GERMANS WREAE VENGEANCE ON THE CITY. Amsterdam, June 8. "Le3 Nouvelles" states that the Germans fined Mons half a million marks on the pretext that the Allied air raids were duo to a published statement that Prince Rupprecnt of Bavaria and his staff were there. A Mons newspaper states that there is reason to believe that a German General, and possibly another high officer, were killed in the raids.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Aesn.
