AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
The fortnightly mooting of the Wellington Amateur Photographic Society was held on Wednesday.
I Mr. W. L. Edmanson, senior vice-prcsi-I'dont was in tho chair. He congi'atulatI ed tho society <'n tho increased membership and tho progress the society was making, and stated that tho Wellington Society would soon be tho largest in tho Dominion, certainly tho most influential. ■After tho usual business matters had been disposed of, Mr. M'lCay, of the Kodak' expert staff, made a demonstration on tho development of gaslight paper, using V.elox—all grades—in his work. He succeeded in showing the members how to work the paper to tho best advantage, and loft n good impression in favour of Velox. Mr. Tl. T.Robson, of the same firm, contributed a short demonstration on bromide papor with equally successful results. Both gentlemen were accorded a hearty voto of thanks.
