Also sta'rted: H. Earnall, 2Ssec; C. Claridge, 20scc.; S. Dempster, ISsec. Time, lmin. 32sec. Second heat: A. Claridge, 165ec.,.1; A. Boss, Bsec, 2; <J. Rusterholz, lfeec, 3. Also started: L. Barker, 20sec.; A. Thomson, 20sec; C. Bartlett, 12sec. Time, lmin. -15sec, Final- A. Claridge, 1; P. Coleman, 2; A. Tvrant, 3. Won easily. Time, lmii. ■il 2-sspc. On Eriday evening members of the Bovs' Institute were examined in lifesavin" bv the Ttoyal Life-Saving boeiety examiners, and gained in all 29 lite-saving certificates (U elementary and 15 proficiency), which makes 61 certificates the bovs of the institute have gained within the last five weeks. The class now studying for the bronze medallion will be examined this week.
