The following announcement was re« ceived from His Excellency the Governor (the Earl of Liverpool) last evening:—' Government House, Wellington, June 3, 1917. His Excellency the Governor has bees advised that His Majesty the King han been graciously ploas&d to confer the following honours on tlio occasion of His Majesty's Birthday:—
Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George. C.11.G.-J- P- Luke, Esq., Mayor.of Wellington. C.M.G.—Dr. P. Trilby King, Superintendent of Seacliff Mental Hospital, Dunedin. C.M.G.—Colonel H. ft. Potter, Com' innndant Trentham Camp. C.M.G.—Colonel Noel P. Adams, mandant Peatherston Camp. Imperial Service Order. 1.5.0.— W. R. Morris, Esq., Secretary N.Z. Post and Telegraph Department. His Majesty the King has alio been pleased to appoint Colonel (temporary Brigadier-General) E. W. C. Chaytor, C.8., C.M.G., to bo an additional Aid©-de-Camp to His Majesty.
