The smoker should know tho percentage of nicotino in his tobacco—this poison when absorbed by the system regularly and in large quantities injures tho most robust constitution. American tobaccos contain as much as i per cent, and 5 per cent, of nicotine. Smokere will be interested to learn that our Now Zealand-grown tobacco contains only U pel , cent, of nicotino. Small wonder that it is so much milder and less harmful. New Zealand has now its own tobacco industry, and wo can well be proud of tho local product. Recently the quality of Gold Pouch tobacco has been grently improved. Nothing moro perfect and purer has been produced than tho New Aromatic Gold Pouch. It excels all foreign tobacco in mildness, in flavour and combustibility. More economical, too, 2}oz. for Is. ■ Cismrette smoker-a should use tho New Ze_aland-?rown Three Diamonds tobacco—it leaves no sharp and bitter nftertaste.—Advt.
