Sale reported: Bank of New Zealand, £12 8?.; National Bank, £5 9s. AUOKLAND GOLD RETURNS. Auckland, May 31. The gold returns- for the Auckland district for May totalled £72,073, an-incrcasc of £20.435 on last year. Tho increase is largely accounted for hy tho returns from the Grand Junction, -which were included. GRAND JUNCTION RETURNS. Auckland, May 31. During tho ooriod onded May 19 the Grand Junction treated 930 tons of ore for a return of bullion valued' at £18,060, an increase of £2040 ovor la6t year. The total bullion won to dato totals £1,512,813.
