CONVICTION FOR PERJURY

At the Supreme Court William Gordon, retried on the charge that he did commTr perjury at the hearing of a civil claim against him in the Magistrate's Court, (lie jury failed to agree oa Saturday, but at to-day's hearing the jury found a verdict of guilty, with a recommendation to mercy on account of tho accused's previous good character.
