The society nopes to get these in to-morrow, wheii the judging will take place. In opening the chotv tho Hon. W. Fraser referred to the shipping difficulties. Hβ said ,that a satisfactory arrangement had beoa made with the Imperial Government regarding all frozen mutton ami" cheese which the Government had commandeered. No doubt the arrangement would restore confidence to bankers and companies -which had been waling advances in jtoclr, and cause them to be' more ready to make advances.

Regardinjr the purchase of wheat in Australia. Mr. Fraser said tho Press was wrong both as to quantity and prica. The H. W. D. S. hud now returned and would give details of the bargain.
