WAIRARAPAANZAC CLUB
The first annual report of the Wairarapa Anzac Club, presented at a meeting of subscribers last Friday, says the club since it was opened has been much appreciated by tho soldiers, their wives and friends, and has proved a perfect boon to them. It has proved well,' suited for its requirements, and is now fully completed and equipped in every way. The building is w<;ll lighted with electricity, and is heated throughout with hot-water pipes. The furnishing of tho building cost a good sum, but the committee considered thnt as the club was erected solely fov the comfort and convenience of the soldiers in camp, a little extra expense was warranted in making it as comfortable !as possible.
