Tho .accused further staled that he Jind made all arrangements to go into enmp on Monday, Accused was convicted arid fined 405., in. the alternative to nerve 11 days in gaol, and Iho Jtagislraio suggested that if the military authorities wanted Ryan, ho could be hantied over to them.

Hβ was convicted and sentenced to ono month's imprisonment on cacli charge, the terms to bo concurrent. A remand until Monday was granted on the application of tho police in tho caso against Robert Scott, who was charged that on May 22 he did steal a. pair of boots, valued at. 205., the property of some person or persons un; known. Bail was allowed in ,£35 «nd ono surety of .£ls. On tho application of the police a remand until Wednesday, May 30, was granted in tho caso against Albert Kaili Wiig, who was charged with bigamy. Bail was allowed in <£50 and one surety of isfl.
A charge of assault against H. Ray and W. Uauckham was dismissed, as tho complainant failed to appear.
