LIQUOR AND RACING
The National Efficiency Board meets in Wellington to-day. The board has not yet informed the Government as to" the result of its inquiry as to the advisability or otherwise of putting some restrictions on horse-racing and the sale of alcoholic liquor, an.d it is probable {Eat this will be one of tie most importantof the matters with which the )x)nrd will have to deal at this meeting.
