INDIAN IMMIGRATION INTO CANADA

(Reo. May 20, 5.5 p.m.) Ottawa, May 10. In the Canadian House of Commons Sir Kobert Borclon reported the results of the Imperial Conference, and said that as a result of the decisions 'of the conference regarding India, the Government had decided that the regulations regarding the immigration offclndians to Canada should be placod on the same basis as the Indian regulations on Canadian immigration. He asked Sir W. Laurier to accompany him to London as Canada's second representative at the Post-War Conference. Sir \Y. Laurier prpmised that the Opposition would give the same consideration to the Government conscription proposals as it had given to their war measures. He agreed that Canada should do her utmost till victory was secured.— Renter.
