. $- . OPENING FOR THE CROWN. By Telegraph.—Pj'ess Association. . Christchurch, May 16. The trial of Charles Butler, charged with the murder of Henrietta Voster, on a farm near Oxford, was commenced to-day in tlio Supreme Court. The prisoner pleaded not guilty. Evidence was given on the lines of that i.t the preliminary trial. The case for the Crown lasted all day.
