Paris, May 13. A French official report from Macedonia states that on May 12 the enemy opposed violent reactions to our attacks, during which they succeeded in regaining a footing in some of the trenches we captured the previous clay at Sekadelogen; but east of this point the French troops brilliantly carried an enemy, work—Aus.-N.Z. THE GREEK SITUATION "CERTAIN PERSONS" INVITED TO' LEAVE ATHENS. Athens, May 13. M. Zaimis (the Greek Premier), after receiving certain persons connected m'ith Athens society, appealed to their patriotism and asked them to leave Athens provisionally. TRE PLOT TO KILL M. VENIZELOS
HIRED 'ASSASSINS CHARGED. (Rec. May 14, 10 p.m.) Salonika, Slay 13. Eleven men have been charged with being concerned in a conspiracy to murder M. Venizolos, whom they had planned to invite to a banquet. The men confessed that they had been sent from Athens for that purpose, and had been promised a reward of £4000.—The "Times."
