Tho paper lias been a great success among tlio troops, and numbers have been sent out liere for tho interest of friends and relatives. The main objoct of tho magazine was to lcecp tho various units of the N.Z.K.F.. scattered widely through Fraiioo, Kngland, and Egypt in close touch with each other, and to let the men know where their friends -were in hospital and their progress. It was hoped also that through it the Now Zealand publio would learn much of tho internal doings of the force, it-3 sports and interests, etc., : nforoiation which docs not reach home othorwiso. Tho paper contains much interesting reading, amusing sketches, photographs, records of actions, camp life, and sports news. All tho contributions are voluntary, as also is the editorial work. Tho paper is excellently printed and woll got up. A display is being madp in sevoral booksellers' windows, Messrs. Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd., Messrs. S. and W. Maekay, C. A. Innes, and Messrs. Ferguson and Osborne all assisting. As tho paper is circulated to the troops at loss than cost price, the support of the pcoplo hero is necessary to keep tho magazine running, and subscriDtions arc needed. No profits are made, nor aro likely in these times of paper and labour shortage. Fourteen numbers luivo so far reached New Zealand, and full sets of back numbers may bo bad.
