LIGHTING A COUNTRY TOWN s ' A BIG UNDERTAKING. Pew people have any idea of the great amount of work and expense incurred m the effective lighting of even a small country town. Electric Light and Coal Gas are, of course, tho piost popular form ot light for the purpose, and for a large scheme, such as is required for a town liko'Wanganui or Palmerston North, the cost runs into many thousauds of pounds, and the work takes inaDy months to complete. People living outside the Gas and Electric Light area are compelled to do without these' conveniences, but two years ago tho "Wizard" Lighting System for I country homcfi was introduced in New I Zealand aud this remarkably cheap and' efficient lighting plant has placed the farmer and country business man in even a better position that the city dweller, as the "Wizard" Light is superior to Coal Gas in quality, and is much cheaper to use; besides which, each homo lias its own Gas Plant, and. the owner is, therefore, independent of labour trouble, etc. . Cooking and heating facilities can be supplied, with "Wizard" Plants,-which are up-/o-date in every respect. ..'.'. A city of 15,000 inhabitants would contain about 2500, houses, stores, churches, halls, etc., and a lighting system for a town of this size would be a vijiy extensive one, yet if all of the 2500 buildings in New Zealand in which the "Wizard" Light is installed wore brought together they would represent a city of 15,000 inhabitants; and all classes of private ond business. houses would be represented. This great number of "Wizard" Lighting Plants has-heen sold in New Zealand in a little over two years, and "Wizard" Plants are still being installed at the i fato of about 200 por month. "Wizard" users' include Government Post .- Offices, Wireless Stations, Railways, Military Camps, Banks, Institutes, Halls, Churches, Hotels. Billiard Saloons, etc. Country pcoplo should loso no time in writing to Mossrs. Early Bros., 59 Cuba Street, Wellington, for full particulars and prices.—Published by arrangement.
