The month of greatest traffic previous to this was July, 1916, with 170 ships, having an spgrcKato net tosaaeo of 547,370 tons. In only one other month. The John left, yesterday for Tiroaruand Duncdin. On the way hack from Duncdin to Wellington the vessel calls at Oamaru. Tho Eunice is expected hero on Monday from lyttelton, which port she id to leave, to-morroir. She leaves hero on Monday with cargo for Wangauui. The Koutunui is due here on Monday next from Auckland with a cargo of case
oil. Her future movements are so far indefinite. She will go 1o tho Kast Coast, hut may call at Picton.
Tho Calm is due here on Tuesday from Bluff, Dunedin. Tiinani, and Lytic] ton, and will sail the same day for Wanganui.
The Corinna. did not leave here yesterday for Tiinani mid Oamaru. «Sho now sails to-morrow for those ports, and has already a full carpi.
